fREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

These FAQs cover our services. Every workplace and issue is unique, so if your question isn’t here, contact us for a free call to discuss your specific needs and next steps.

What typles of workplace issues do you help with?
We assist with a range of workplace issues whether things are just beginning to appear “off” or have already escalated. From interpersonal conflicts, tension or informal communication lines between team members, and performance concerns, to return-to-work situations following investigations or injury.
how does a mediation get started?
Our mediator will begin with confidential conversations with the employees to assess if mediation is appropriate for the situation and explain the process. We aim to set the mediation date within the same week. Our goal is to resolve issues quickly while allowing employees the opportunity to be heard and make informed decisions about how to move forward.
What’s the difference between mediation and facilitated conversations?
Mediation involves a neutral third party helping people in conflict work toward a resolution. Mediations are confidential and so what is said in the mediation is not communicated outside of the process. Facilitated conversations create an open space for individuals or teams to raise concerns before they escalate. Each session is tailored to focus on the specific issues and goals of your organisation, ensuring a relevant approach.
Can you help with low-level tension or early signs of conflict?

What may seem like low-level tension can often signal deeper issues. Addressing concerns early can help prevent misunderstandings from growing and reduce the risk of formal complaints or ongoing conflict. Our services are focused on support timely, proactive resolution.
Can you work alongside our HR team or legal advisors?
Yes. We work alongside internal HR teams, external consultants, and legal advisors to support employee communication. Whether you need immediate help managing a conflict, navigating a sensitive conversation, or bringing in a neutral third party, we can provide independent support or collaborate with your team - whichever approach best suits the situation.
Do you offer in-person services,
or is everything done online?
Most of our work is delivered online via video conference, allowing us to support clients quickly and efficiently, no matter where they’re based. In-person services are available when needed. We’re based in Sydney and travel to other locations across Australia by arrangement.
How do we get started?
Contact us by phone or email for an obligation free discussion about what's going on in your organisation. We’ll answer your questions and offer initial guidance—no pressure, just support. From there, we’ll recommend the best way forward.
What if we’re not sure which service we need?

That’s completely fine. Many clients come to us with general concerns, and we work with them to determine the most effective way forward. Whether it’s a one-off conversation or a more structured process, we’ll help you find the right fit.
